It feels like just yesterday that my weeks were filled with the excitement of being a new parent, and the anxiety of trying to find practical child care solutions. With my wifeβs maternity leave winding down, an endless waitlist at the nearby daycare centers, and no local support network to rely on - we were beyond stressed, wondering where to turn.
We were fortunate to figure something out, but our familyβs struggle made me realize that many other parents were likely asking themselves the same questions. On a quest to find an answer, I launched Sitly in the Netherlands back in 2009. In 2012, this passion project became a full-time company, and we have been growing ever since.
