Work with Canada’s Leader in Assistive Technology

Bridges is a Canadian‑owned and operated company and the country’s leading provider of assistive technology for educators, clinicians, and the individuals they support. For over 25 years, we’ve helped practitioners, schools, and institutions across Canada choose the right tools for learners with cognitive, sensory, physical, and learning challenges. Our curated product line, deep training expertise, and commitment to service have made us the trusted partner for assistive technology nationwide.

Position Overview

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion to help others succeed—whether that’s a teacher trying to support a student with complex needs or a school board exploring new accessibility solutions. As our Account Manager & Blind/Low Vision (BLV) Product Specialist, you’ll learn about our products and market by focusing on strengthening relationships with our existing clients. Once you are settled in you’ll have the opportunity to take a lead role in expanding our presence across Ontario and Canada, working with school boards, educators, clinicians, and organizations that rely on BLV tools and services.

This role is ideal for someone who has:

• Experience supporting children or adults with special needs or

• Experience selling into the education sector in Ontario

—and who wants to join a mission‑driven team helping to support and shape accessibility across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deepen relationships with our existing clients, ensuring they feel supported and informed

• Develop a prospecting strategy to reach new school boards, educators, clinics, and accessibility teams

• Understand customer needs and present solutions that align with their priorities, timelines, and purchasing cycles in both the public and private sectors.

• Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing to shape our BLV product offerings and supporting marketing materials

• Work closely with Customer Service to ensure both the smooth on-boarding of new clients and troubleshooting , and long‑term satisfaction of our existing customer base.

The experience and attributes we're looking for:

• Sales or account management experience with a consultative, relationship‑driven approach

• Background (or genuine interest) in assistive technology, special education, or tools for diverse learners

• Experience working with or selling to school boards, educators, or therapy/clinical environments

• Post‑secondary education related to special education, AAC, sight enhancement/substitution technologies, or disability support would be a significant advantage

• Strong planning, organization, and analytical skills

• Independent thinker with solid problem‑solving abilities

• Team player who values long‑term relationships and understands the needs of educators and clinicians

• Excellent communication and presentation skills; French is an asset

• Proficiency with MS Office

Work Location

This is a hybrid role. You’ll need to be able to spend some time in our Scarborough office during your on-boarding and orientation and then transition to primarily remote work and visits to clients. A functional home office and access to a car are required. The role includes regular travel within Ontario and occasional travel across Canada with all appropriate mileage and travel related expenses covered.

Why Join Bridges

At Bridges, your work directly impacts the learning, communication, and independence of people across Canada. You’ll join a supportive, collaborative team that values creativity, purpose, and professional growth. As the dominant Canadian supplier of assistive technology, we offer the stability of an established leader with the energy of a mission‑driven organization.

Join Bridges and help shape the future of accessible learning and communication in Canada.
