This is not a traditional junior developer role. You will be working in an environment where AI is integrated into daily development, operations, and decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone with over one year of experience who has a solid foundation in coding, enjoys solving bugs, and is comfortable working with both technical and non-technical team members-especially someone who is curious, adaptable, and interested in applying AI to real-world business problems.
The role includes a mix of bug fixing, light feature development, database work, design support, and documentation, while also contributing to AI-assisted systems, automations, and internal tools. You will primarily work within existing systems, help improve internal workflows through automation, and assist in translating business requirements into clear technical direction for development partners.
This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience not only in software development and IT operations, but also in how AI is used to build, optimize, and scale business systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and Tailwind CSS to improve and maintain front-end functionality.
- Contribute to back-end updates in Node.js-based applications where needed.
- Write and optimize database queries using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Build and maintain Python scripts for scraping, automation, and AI-supported workflows.
- Support the development and refinement of AI-driven tools, automations, and integrations.
- Create wireframes or mockups in Figma for responsive web pages and feature updates.
- Write PRDs and clear documentation to support development and implementation.
- Fix bugs and make updates within existing web application codebases.
- Collaborate with internal non-technical stakeholders to understand needs and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Help translate business needs into clear, actionable technical deliverables.
- 1+ year of experience in software or web development.
- Working knowledge of TypeScript, Python, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS.
- Experience working in environments that utilize automation or AI-enhanced workflows.
- Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.
- Ability to debug issues and work within an existing codebase.
- Comfortable writing clear technical or product documentation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
- Experience with Figma.
- Familiarity with writing product requirement documents or feature specifications.
- Exposure to APIs, automation tools, or workflow integrations.
